From the Heart

I heard you wanted a poem
A poem from the heart.
But to write a poem is to be a poet,
And to be a poet is something that I am not.

I’m just a girl
Who likes taking words for a whirl.
Making stuff up, throwing words around
Sometimes I write and the thoughts just flow
But other times it’s a simple “hell no”.

So if you want a poem
One that’s from the heart
I guess that this is a good enough start.
After all, did you see what I did
Did you see what I can do?
I took a few words
And made this shitty poem just for you.

I guess I am a poet
Don’t say that I’m not
For this poem I just wrote
Well it’s definitely the GOAT 😂😂
