In the darkness of the night
I sit all alone
Nobody around me
Nothing to call my own.
Thinking of all
That is going around me
Life passes day by day
Nothing to ground me.
I search my heart
I search my soul
Need to dig deeper
Get out of this black hole.
A twinkling star distracts me
It says come find me
Step out of the darkness
And reach for the light
There’s hope ahead
Your life is bright.
