Sparkling white sand
Water so deep
The sun so bright
Blue skies are all I see.
The whisper of seashells
In my ear
The warm ocean breeze
Runs through my hair.
I close my eyes
I wish I was there
Can’t wait until the day
I see my happy place again.
–Authors Note: Haven’t been able to travel for over two years and the ocean is one of the things I miss most…it truly is my happy place. Is there a place that brings you a sense of happiness and peace?
