You are there when I need you
Early mornings, sleepy afternoons, long road trips
You never disappoint...
Finding Hope
Quiet days
Long nights
From darkness emerges
A ray of light...
Pain
A stabbing pain
It goes so deep
It hurts so much
I want to weep…
2 A.M. Roar
A loud roar in the night
It wakes me up, in a fright.
Where did it come from, this loud roar?
A lion, a tiger, maybe a boar?
Fly Away
Like a bird
With a clipped wing
I’m broken, I’m damaged
With no song to sing.
Connections
Three weeks became a year, a year became two;
Staying apart from everyone, there’s nothing we can do.
Sadness climbs high, happiness is low;
Even when we turn a corner, there’s nowhere to go...
